The shell jacket, engineered with Gore-Tex® Performance Shell uses the most durable nylon face fabrics available. The 2-layer construction uses a Gore-Tex® membrane, which is bonded to the outer material and protected on the inside by a separate lining for better wear, greater comfort, and waterproof/breathable protection. Helmet-compatible, 2-way-adjustable hood with laminated visor for optimal visibility in bad conditions. Touch Point System embeds cord locks in the hood and hem for quick adjustments to seal out rain and snow. It has a modified Y-Joint sleeve construction for overhead mobility without jacket lifting. It also has harness- and pack-compatible pocket configuration and pit zips featuring Slim Zip installation with watertight, coated zippers for reduced zipper bulk and weight.
